What is Cities XXL?
Cities XXL is a city-building simulation in which players design, build, and manage large urban areas.
Planning covers homes, retail, offices, industry, roads, railways, buses, and other infrastructure across 47 architectural styles and more than 1,000 buildings. City management includes resident happiness, leisure facilities, landmarks, ecology, and localized noise and smoke pollution. Cities can exchange resources across more than 65 maps, including waste, oil, fuel, water, workers, and holidaymakers. The game also includes ecological structures and upgrades such as park-and-ride services, electric car dealerships, and bicycle rentals. Steam Workshop support allows creation, sharing, and downloading of buildings, landscapes, roads, highways, scenery, and other user-made content.
