What is Sinister Night 2?
Nine streamers enter an ancient Chinese mansion for a livestream, but two have been possessed by an evil spirit connected to a ghost-marriage ritual.
Players investigate the building, collect offerings, complete tasks, use location information, and vote while trying to identify the possessed members. The game moves away from fixed roles associated with Werewolf-style deduction, instead combining items, clues, and situational decisions. Tools include Zhong Kui statues, adrenaline, night-vision goggles, crows, compasses, and EMF detectors. During the Crimson Dream, possessed characters become the ghost bride and attack the others. The setting draws on traditional Chinese architecture, ghost stories, and horror imagery.
