What is Shard Squad?
Shard Squad is an action-adventure game about assembling a team of elemental creatures called Shards.
More than 20 Shards can join the squad, including Fire, Electric, Water, Nature, and Crystal types. Each creature has three traits, and combining matching traits within the team unlocks abilities and effects. Players select squad members, equip relics, and face enemy hordes across different environments. Defeating bosses can add new recruits to the team. Unique events and further boss encounters challenge the squad and provide rewards. The main progression loop centers on building a team around trait combinations, raising its power level through shared traits, and surviving the crisis affecting Mellunia.
