Our take on Islets Defense
Players who rely on a fixed action sequence may hit a wall when using a card shifts the four-card order. The stronger effect on the rightmost card makes every choice affect later turns, so defensive plans can unravel when card timing is mismanaged.
What is Islets Defense?
Islets Defense combines turn-based tower defense with village and resource management.
Each turn uses one of four cards, with the card’s position affecting its strength; after use, it shifts to the leftmost position. Resources support the settlement and its defenses: food sustains towers, while wood and stone fund upgrades. Exploration reveals the mist-covered map, new resources, tower visibility, and hidden treasures. The campaign contains 15 stages with distinct biomes, modifiers, layouts, and challenges. Chests provide additional strategic options, while building choices and upgrade paths shape each village. The game includes more than 25 building types, up to 6 upgrades for many buildings, 20 interactive tile types, and over 10 hours of playtime.
