Our take on CODE Bunny
The game prioritizes speed, movement, and route mastery, so its structure leaves less room for slow exploration or broad open-ended progression. Conversations add narrative context, but the main design remains focused on repeated action challenges and performance.
What is CODE Bunny?
CODE Bunny is a 2D action platformer built around fast movement and combat techniques that also function as traversal options.
Story Mode follows Axel and Hazel, whose contrasting play styles carry them through seven stages with multiple paths across locations on Planet Lumna. Players battle the Mad Bunny group, evade projectile patterns, chain attacks, and confront bosses with distinct mechanics. Between missions, the Talk Room provides conversations with crewmates at a space station. Completing Story Mode unlocks Speedrun Mode, which records times across all stages, and Boss Rush, which places the bosses in sequence before an additional challenge. The story follows the VY Space Program and the investigation into Mad Bunny and Lumna's hidden secrets.
