Sands of Aura is an open-world action RPG set in Talamhel, a realm buried beneath an endless sea of sand.
Players sail between islands aboard a grainwake, choosing routes while finding combat encounters, lore, secrets, and plunder. The game features unrelenting, souls-like combat against corrupted humans, Ferrum, and Hashara. Seven fighting styles, armor sets, magical augments, and hundreds of weapon components support customized builds, with components combining into thousands of weapons. Starspire acts as a sanctuary for refugees encountered during the journey. Choosing which residents to admit affects the settlement, parts of the story, and the services and equipment available there.
