Our take on Samurai GUNN
Every hit is fatal, making the three bullets assigned to each life and the timing of sword attacks central to each fight.
What is Samurai GUNN?
Samurai GUNN is a rapid close-quarters duel game for two, three, or four participants.
Each fighter carries both a blade and firearm, receiving three shots for every life, while any successful strike is fatal. Movement and attacks use just three controls: leap, cut, and fire. Players may bat projectiles away, feign death to set an ambush, or send an opponent into the water, leaving the soaked weapon unable to shoot. Keeping the cut control pressed switches stances, and being positioned higher or lower than an adversary affects the matchup. Cutting right after a leap propels the samurai horizontally; the moment of the attack determines how quickly that movement carries across the arena.
How Samurai GUNN plays
- 01Bullet Deflection
- Sword attacks can send incoming shots back toward the opposing samurai.
- 02Water Hazard
- Knocking a fighter into the lake can leave their gun unable to fire.
- 03Stance Changes
- Holding the slash input shifts stance, with vertical positioning influencing the advantage.
- 04Aerial Movement
- A sword strike after jumping carries the samurai across the screen, with timing affecting travel speed.
- 05One-Hit Combat
- Every successful hit kills, while each life includes three bullets.
