Our take on S H R i M P
The store presentation foregrounds an ominous ritual and surreal entities, while the concrete loop is narrower: collect cars across 20 levels without combat. The additional systems, secrets, and planned free content may draw attention away from that repeated core objective.
What is S H R i M P?
S H R i M P is a third-person platformer set in an abstract, frightening void.
Playing as a shrimp, the goal begins with collecting cars across 20 levels while hostile entities patrol the environment. Combat is unavailable, so survival depends on escaping encounters, managing anxiety, using a stereo in relevant areas, and playing dead when required. The shrimp gains abilities during progression and carries a scanner that locates cars and can be upgraded to detect other objects or cover a wider area. Three difficulty settings, a peaceful mode, and a separate level-difficulty option change the challenge. Hidden skins and headwear can be found or purchased with collected coins. An index, currency-conversion system, analysis features, and secrets support additional exploration.
