Our take on Undivine
The store page gives substantial space to freedom, secrets, and optional content, while the opening progression is comparatively basic: jumping and sword attacks come first, with broader abilities arriving through later relic discoveries.
What is Undivine?
Undivine is a dark metroidvania with RPG elements set in a desolate, interconnected realm.
Players begin with jumping and sword attacks, then discover relics that add abilities for combat and traversal. Weapons, armor, accessories, and relics have unique features that affect combat options. A talent system includes alchemy, demonology, cartography, and other areas. Exploration includes side quests, NPCs, bosses, secrets, collectibles, and optional equipment and abilities. Progression is non-linear, and not every skill is required to reach the ending. The game includes three difficulty levels. Its story follows a traveler who descends into a chasm beneath a village after earlier warriors fail to return.
