Our take on Sign of Silence
Rather than treating horror as a sequence of combat encounters, the game makes silence and group coordination central mechanics. Player-made noise can bring danger, while exploration across several locations and multiple escape routes replaces a single linear path to safety.
What is Sign of Silence?
Sign of Silence is a cooperative horror game for four players set around Danwille, where a camping trip ends with a car crash in a remote forest.
The group must cross woods, swamps, deserted streets, a boathouse, and an abandoned radio tower while searching for help and a way out. Player actions create noise that can draw monsters, making quiet movement and coordinated decisions central to survival. Creatures may lurk near trees, pull travelers into lairs, or appear after disturbances. Several escape routes are available, and records and locations reveal the town’s disturbing history. The game also introduces another presence in the forest whose intentions become clear through exploration.
