Our take on Ring the City
Combat hinges on simultaneous choices: both sides select a move for the round, so anticipating an opponent’s attack and choosing a counter define each encounter.
What is Ring the City?
Ring the City is set in Krana, an unknown town where a dungeon has appeared.
Rings found below ground give their wearers control over elements and living things. Adventurers, pets, animals, and creatures from the caves also use the rings, creating conflicts with those who enter the dungeon. Players collect rings, choose which ones to wear, and assemble a squad. Combat is hand-to-hand and takes place in rounds: after the player chooses a move, the enemy acts at the same time. Predicting an opponent’s attack and choosing a counter are central to these battles. Players also choose their route through the dungeon and uncover the story of the town and what lies at the bottom.
