What is Rift Loopers?
Rift Loopers is a twin-stick shooter with roguelike elements, built around surviving waves of alien insect-like enemies.
Runs take place in alternate worlds, where players fight to collect reality crystals for dimensional travel. Crystals return to the home dimension whether a character survives or dies, and can be spent to unlock weapons, characters and enhancements for later runs. Leveling up during a run lets players improve abilities or add new ones as enemy waves grow stronger. Active abilities can be paired with passive ones to increase their potential. Challenges provide another route to unlock classes, abilities, weapons and enhancements. The game can be played alone or in online co-op with up to three friends.
