Our take on Revoke
Its focus on fast, mobile shooting gives less room to pause between encounters. The campaign centers on combat, boss fights, and a rescue mission, rather than offering a wider set of activities.
What is Revoke?
Revoke is a VR arcade shooter set in 2082.
Players control Major Miya, a Rebel soldier sent to rescue Noan, an organic human held by Government forces. Combat combines free locomotion with shooting; firing builds Heat Power, which activates special techniques. Bionic-hand modules provide different abilities, including a cannon form, and additional modules unlock after boss fights. A time-freezing effect gives Miya a burst of speed to use against agile enemies. The campaign follows a sequence of levels with an arcade-inspired pace, enhanced enemy AI, and boss encounters that can include a second-stage attack. The game also features a conflict between Government and Rebel forces around the Caspian Sea.
