Our take on Redfall
The open-world FPS framing gives prominence to exploration and vampire combat, but the campaign also includes four selectable heroes, character upgrades, and cooperative loadout choices. Those systems make character selection and progression a substantial part of the experience.
What is Redfall?
Redfall is an open-world first-person shooter set on an island town isolated by vampires.
It supports solo play and cooperative sessions for up to four players. Players explore the downtown area, forest, seaside boardwalk, cultist outposts, and supernatural psychic spaces while investigating the vampires’ arrival. Four heroes—Devinder, Layla, Remi, and Jacob—have character-specific abilities. Players collect specialized weapons, customize characters with upgrades, and choose between direct gunplay, stealth, or approaches between the two. The story campaign follows survivors confronting the vampires and their followers as players piece together the town’s mysteries.
