Play it if you…
Good fit- Civil War history enthusiasts who want to command forces in specific historical battles

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a large number of units or dense battlefield scenarios may find the low counter count limiting
- Players looking for continuous real-time action may not enjoy alternating turns and pass-based action sequences
- Players seeking a campaign spanning several wars may find the game focused on six Civil War battles
Our take on Rebel Fury
The low counter density keeps the battlefield focused on broad army maneuvers, but offers less unit-level detail than a crowded hex-and-counter scenario. Its six battles also keep the setting tightly centered on selected Civil War engagements.
What is Rebel Fury?
Rebel Fury is a turn-based wargame for solo play or two people, with six battles: Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Chickamauga, Chattanooga, the Wilderness, and Spotsylvania.
Players move division-level units across hex maps, alternating turns until one side passes; the other then receives a random number of unopposed actions. Units shift between March and Battle formations as they approach enemy forces. Combat uses die rolls affected by unit quality, terrain, artillery, and supporting units, and battles have distinct victory conditions.
Play against the AI, challenge a human opponent online, or try a solitaire scenario with a simplified AI. Each battle includes historically based forces and may feature notable units or situations. Players take the role of an army commander and maneuver forces to attack flanks, concentrate units, and commit artillery.
