Our take on Victory and Glory: Napoleon
Its defining structure is the combination of a Europe-wide Napoleonic campaign with two scales of battle: a fast abstract system and a more detailed option for larger engagements.
What is Victory and Glory: Napoleon?
Play as Napoleon Bonaparte in a grand-strategy campaign covering the Napoleonic Wars and a European map spanning 1800–1818.
Move armies and navies, recruit troops, fight land and naval battles, and bring new regions into the French Empire while an AI-controlled Britain and allied nations form changing coalitions against it. The game includes dozens of unit types for major and minor nations, nearly 100 event cards, and six scenarios with different starting conditions, from the Second Coalition in 1800 to defending the empire in 1813. Battles use a fast-play abstract system, with a more detailed tactical option for larger engagements. Solo play is available against the AI.
