Our take on Realm of Cubes
The class system and level progression give the adventure room for character development, while the control setup is a notable trade-off: the game is intended for keyboard and mouse, so controller use may require care at startup.
What is Realm of Cubes?
This voxel-based action-adventure RPG takes place in a handcrafted fantasy world.
Players can explore alone or play couch co-op with a friend, complete quests for residents, and fight monsters. Character development includes seven classes—Mage, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Warrior, Deathknight, and Shaman—with separate talent trees and class-specific spells. Progression goes up to level 60. The game also includes professions such as cooking, fishing, mining, and alchemy, along with mounts, companion pets, achievements, and hang gliding. Combat uses aiming and strafing. The vendor notes that the game is intended for keyboard and mouse and warns that starting it with a controller may cause Steam to map those controls to a controller.
