Our take on Seals of the Bygone
The run-based structure trades persistent progression for varied attempts: character choices, randomized zones, and permanent death keep each session focused on adapting within a single run.
What is Seals of the Bygone?
Seals of the Bygone is a class-based survival roguelike built around repeat runs, randomized zones, and permanent death.
Players choose a Sealer with a distinct ability set, defeat enemies for experience and gold, collect items, and fight bosses with different attack patterns and weaknesses. Five zones combine handcrafted and randomized elements. During runs, two currencies, stat-modifying signs, and item synergies shape character development. Seals also appear as in-run objectives: reaching them before they break provides bonus void flames. Local same-screen co-op supports up to four players, with buffs, healing, and coordinated skills. More than 50 unlockables and over 30 challenges add progression between runs.
