Our take on Back To Ashes
The bounce point arrives during build planning: players who want predictable equipment and a fixed progression route may lose patience with randomized items, varied traits, and multiple statistical choices shaping their play.
What is Back To Ashes?
Back To Ashes is a dark-fantasy action RPG set in the realms of Errent, where worlds are being consumed by an unknown force.
The game follows a journey to find a way to save one’s own reality. Players explore corrupted realms, fight enemies, and confront the Primordial. Combat involves choosing a weapon, learning skill-based techniques, and developing a personal fighting style. Character development includes different statistics, traits, randomly generated items, bonuses, runes, and other components. The game was made by a one-person team as an experiment combining elements from older game classics. Controller support is available, although it was initially designed for keyboard and mouse.
