- Players looking for a long campaign may find the secret ending tied to completing the game within a time limit
Our take on Real Scary
Its focus on sustained tension and pursuit leaves little room for relaxed exploration or systems-heavy gameplay. The timed requirement for the secret ending also favors players willing to replay the experience and refine their route rather than those seeking a single unhurried playthrough.
What is Real Scary?
Real Scary is a psychological horror simulation presented through stop-motion animation and more than 1,000 real-life photographs.
The game takes place inside a house, where exploration leads to clues about evil spirits tormenting the protagonist’s mind. As the spirits become more aggressive, the player must flee toward hiding places or respond to sudden quick-time events. The experience maintains suspense through pursuit, harassment, and threats of murder until its conclusion. Completing the game within a specified time limit can reveal a secret ending, giving experienced players an additional objective beyond reaching the end.
