Our take on Claire
Its defining structure is a short psychological-horror investigation in which quiet exploration, examined personal items, and player choices connect the family mystery to multiple endings.
What is Claire?
Claire follows Beth as she visits her estranged sister Claire’s home in 1963, seeking to mend their relationship after a long separation.
She finds the residence deserted and uncovers buried family history involving sorrow, trauma, and paranormal activity. Exploration centers on searching rooms, inspecting belongings, and completing puzzles that reveal additional locations and story details. Letters, journals, and keepsakes gradually piece together the sisters’ past.
The horror relies on subdued investigation, disturbing incidents, and pursuit scenes rather than constant shocks. Fully voiced conversations carry the narrative, while player decisions and discoveries influence Beth’s journey and lead to several possible conclusions. Checkpoints retain progress during the 4–5-hour game, whose cinematic rhythm keeps an atmospheric, intricately detailed house at the heart of the experience.
