Our take on Loot or Die
Its defining structure is an escalating loot loop: stronger equipment enables tougher encounters, while replaying earlier levels applies reduced damage and health to keep farming challenging.
What is Loot or Die?
Loot or Die is an action RPG with machine-gun combat, planetary exploration, loot collection, and item optimization.
Players equip weapons, armor, and reusable rings in combinations that alter combat, including effects for life stealing, reload speed, ring cooldowns, and damage. Items can roll one of 8 bonus stats, creating different equipment setups. PvE sends players through challenges across several planets, while PvP supports battles for up to 8 participants across multiple maps. Defend the Flag rewards a legendary ring for a win. A home area provides access to a vault, quests, gear upgrades, and an anvil. Later progression includes farming improved loot and replaying earlier levels with reduced damage and health.
