Our take on Echo Storm
Echo Storm replaces a fixed campaign structure with repeated survival attempts: death resets a run, while progression comes through ability choices, unlocks, and base upgrades. Enemy pressure rises during each attempt, making endurance and build selection central to play.
What is Echo Storm?
Echo Storm is a 2D action game with roguelite elements centered on surviving enemy attacks for as long as possible.
Each death resets progress, while longer runs grant more abilities and bring increasingly intense enemy waves. Players select a starting character, weapon, and ability, then combine new abilities as they level up. The game spans five planets, each with different creatures and conditions. Players can seek ways to deal with particular enemies and evade their attacks. Unlockable characters, weapons, and abilities offer further choices. Building a base raises character health, damage, other statistics, and resource gains.
