Our take on Totemlands
The relaxed pace trades urgency for flexibility: no rush drives progression forward. That suits decorating, gathering, and exploration, but leaves less room for players who want demanding survival pressure or tightly timed objectives.
What is Totemlands?
Arrive in Oakshade as an adventurer and investigate its lands, residents, and Oaklingers, the spirits that inhabit the area.
Use a staff to hunt spirits, including some that may be hostile, then use hunted spirits to raise sentient totems that provide relics when cared for. Gather resources by chopping, mining, growing, and fishing, refine materials, and use them for facilities, structures, decorations, or upgrades. Decorating options include furniture, wall mounts, interior and exterior items, walls, flooring, and fences. Exploration opens previously uncharted territories. Character customization includes hairstyles, facial features, and hair and eye colors. The game has no stated rush, allowing play at an individual pace.
