Our take on Urban Jungle
Plants do not need watering or pest control: the central constraint is finding suitable positions for them inside small apartments.
What is Urban Jungle?
Urban Jungle is a casual simulation game about arranging plants in small apartments.
Each plant has suitable positions, creating a placement puzzle focused on room comfort and appearance. Finding effective spots gradually makes additional plants available. There are no timers or demanding situations, and plants do not require watering or pest control, so arrangements can be changed freely. Lamps, humidifiers, and other apartment objects can also be adjusted to change the room’s atmosphere. A story appears through the environments as the stages move across parts of the protagonist’s life. The game includes calming music, gentle visuals, and a cat that can be petted.
How Urban Jungle plays
- 01Plant Placement Puzzles
- Positioning each plant affects the apartment’s comfort and visual presentation, with successful arrangements opening access to more plants.
- 02Apartment Decoration
- Lamps, humidifiers, and other objects can be arranged or used to alter the room’s atmosphere.
- 03Environmental Story
- Story fragments emerge from the surroundings across stages representing different periods of the protagonist’s life.
- 04Pet Cat
- The apartment includes a cat that can be interacted with by petting it.
