Our take on Psycho
The cooperative premise is prominent, but the mode is limited to two players and cannot be saved. Single-player includes saving, while cooperative play instead relies on reviving a partner at a recovery room.
What is Psycho?
Psycho is a 3D horror game set in a cursed restricted area containing a mysterious bunker.
Players control police officer Josh while searching for Eric, a missing man, and uncovering the location’s story through notes found on the map. Exploration involves dark rooms, generating electricity, finding items, and completing mission objectives. A pursuer inside the bunker follows the player and becomes stronger over time. A radiation detector can locate the pursuer and contaminated objects. Single-player mode allows saving in a recovery room with a memory pill. Cooperative play supports two players, who can assist one another and revive a fallen partner at a recovery room, but cooperative sessions cannot be saved.
How Psycho plays
- 01Two-player cooperation
- A second player can join the bunker search and revive a downed partner at a recovery room.
- 02Radiation detection
- A detector identifies the pursuing enemy and objects affected by contamination.
- 03Solo saving
- Single-player sessions can be saved in a recovery room by using a memory pill.
- 04Growing pursuer threat
- The hostile character chasing the player becomes stronger as the game continues.
