What is Metro Awakening?
Set in 2028, Metro Awakening follows Serdar, a doctor searching Moscow’s buried Metro for his wife and the medication she needs.
This VR adventure combines exploration, stealth and combat across tunnels shaped by nuclear radiation, supernatural phenomena, bandits and mutants. Players use a gas mask, ammunition, filters and a torch while moving through darkness and dangerous underground spaces. Hand-made weapons support encounters with the Metro’s threats, while the story follows Serdar as his courage and sanity come under pressure. The game presents a supernatural origin story connected to the Metro setting and focuses on a spiritual transformation involving the living world and the realm of spirits.
