Our take on Penguins Can Fly
The focus on earning, upgrading, and expanding across islands leaves less room for combat or story-led adventure. Progress centers on developing the penguin’s living space and power stations, so players looking for a broader range of activities may find the simulation’s scope limiting.
What is Penguins Can Fly?
Penguins Can Fly is a penguin-life simulation playable alone or with friends.
Catch fish for income, then use the proceeds to improve an igloo and develop the surrounding islands. Purchasable additions include furnishings such as a television and hats for changing the penguin’s appearance. Renewable generators, such as wind turbines, can be installed across eight uninhabited islands to produce both power and further earnings. The Penguin Bank provides island ranking progression. Cooperative play lets friends pool their efforts while expanding their island holdings. Over time, progress may culminate in sending a penguin into space toward the moon, demonstrating the game’s flying premise.
