Our take on Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy
Rather than centering on a single fixed class per character, the game makes hybrid roles a central part of party construction. It also links ability growth to equipment, replacing a purely level-driven approach with choices about Blood Codes, items, and encounter risk.
What is Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy?
Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy is an RPG set in a near-future Tokyo after a mysterious object called the Embryo appears in the sky.
The CPA and Xth Squad return to confront the threat through a new operation and a series of dangerous labyrinths. Characters can receive supplemental Blood Codes, allowing hybrid job combinations, while equipped items can provide additional skills and spells. The Rise & Drop system ties stronger rewards to encounters with stronger enemies, creating a risk-and-reward loop during exploration. The game continues the Xth Squad’s story after a short period of peace and focuses on team formation, character customization, item-based abilities, and labyrinth challenges.
