Our take on Oneiros
Rather than using a conventional adventure structure built around travel between broad locations, Oneiros confines its central mystery to a familiar room made uncanny. Escape-room puzzles, physics-based objects, crafting, and surreal visions replace a straightforward journey through a realistic world.
What is Oneiros?
Oneiros is a first-person adventure about Liam, who wakes in a distorted version of his room with locked doors, a compromised laptop, a broken phone, and no memory of the previous day.
The game combines narrative exploration with puzzles, escape-room mechanics, crafting, and building. Players investigate the setting, interact with hundreds of objects, and follow clues to discover what happened and find a way out. Surreal visions shape the experience, while fully voiced characters and an interactive laptop with two embedded mini-games add additional story interactions. Objects use physics-based behavior, making them part of the environment and puzzle-solving process. Oneiros is the debut game from one-person studio Coal Valley Games.
