The sharpest bounce point is the defense map: the crystal fails after one enemy hit, leaving little room for mistakes. Dungeon defeats add another penalty because they can take both loot and passive skills. Players who prefer forgiving runs may hit that pressure early.
What is Nuclear Mages?
Nuclear Mages is a solo alpha action RPG set in Everdawn.
Choose an elemental affinity and use magic, with no weapons, to fight the Void across an open-world town map, three dungeons with unique bosses, and a tower-defense map. Enemies drop Void orbs that can be studied with the seer Zara to obtain passive skills. Explore ruins, loot gear and materials, visit five shops, and store treasures in a home chest. Craft equipment and refine potions at specialized stations.
Dungeon defeats can cost loot and passive skills. On the defense map, protect a crystal from enemy waves using towers; one enemy hit on the crystal means defeat. The alpha includes one tower model with three upgrade levels. The vendor says the tutorial lasts 16 minutes and that at least one hour of gameplay is needed to NUKE.
