What is Exotic?
Exotic is a fantasy adventure game set after a plane crash strands Chiaya in an unknown world.
Exploration takes place in a wilderness containing prey, resources, enemies, mission points, weapon locations, and teleporters. Hunting provides items for weapon research at camp, where equipment can be developed and upgraded. Different prey call for different weapons, while bows vary in range, attack power, and attributes. Arrows can be paired with bows for attacks against distant targets.
Players can follow a drone from mission points to locate items, search the valley for scattered box passwords, and open camp containers holding weapons. The game includes mutant enemies, random encounters, head-targeting combat, and two described characters: the athletic archer Chiaya Ban and technology specialist Yasumi Hirawata. The current version is a beta.
