Visuals, lighting, effects, stages, and characters have been reworked. Blood and dismemberment are included, with dismemberment adjustable through the options menu. Momiji, Ayane, and Rachel are also playable. HERO PLAY STYLE provides automatic assistance during difficult situations for players who do not feel confident with action games. The remaster also incorporates elements from later spin-off releases.
