Our take on Night Call
The taxi-driver premise suggests an open-ended city simulation, but the central structure is a timed investigation across seven nights. Driving mainly frames passenger conversations, clue collection, and the need to cover fuel and bills rather than offering a broad transport-management system.
What is Night Call?
Night Call is a non-linear narrative investigation game set during the Paris night shift.
As a taxi driver who survived a serial killer’s attack, players have seven nights to gather information before the police blame them. Each shift combines driving passengers to destinations with conversations that may reveal useful leads. Responses must be chosen carefully while time is limited, and earnings must cover fuel and bills. The investigation spans three cases with different killers and suspects whose guilt can change between cases. More than 85 characters appear across the game, with hand-drawn black-and-white locations and people. Free Roaming mode lets players explore the streets of Paris and have additional conversations.
