Our take on My Liege
Rather than placing players at the head of a kingdom, the game centers on the least influential noble house. Its structure replaces large-scale conquest with court hearings, household commands, and the consequences of local political choices.
What is My Liege?
Lead the smallest noble house in a medieval choose-your-own-adventure RPG presented in visual-novel form.
Set the house name, sigil, commands, and the names and appearances of family members. Hold court for visiting nobles, hear petitions from peasants, consult noble advisers, and decide how to respond to demands from the Liege Lord and neighboring houses. Choices include sharing food, defending the kingdom, protecting trusted retainers, and managing the effects of winter. Orders are carried out by the household and can change the town, influence the house’s position, and shape how people respond to its lord. The editor also allows customization of the other four noble houses in the Western Valley.
How My Liege plays
- 01Noble Court
- Visiting nobles arrive while peasants present their problems and requests for action.
- 02Consequential Orders
- Decisions affect the town, the household, and how different people judge the house’s leadership.
- 03House Customization
- Names, symbols, and appearances can be changed for the family and the other four noble houses.
- 04Adviser Consultation
- Noble advisers offer views on possible responses before commands are issued.
