Our take on Mud and Blood
The bounce point arrives when a battle starts punishing small errors immediately. Players must manage panic, weapon jams, shifting terrain, and an enemy that exploits weak positions, while failed decisions can cost soldiers and leave little room to recover.
What is Mud and Blood?
Mud and Blood is a real-time strategy game about directing a small squad through brutal World War II battles.
Procedurally generated battlefields change the terrain and combat conditions between encounters. Soldiers can panic, weapons can jam, and mistakes may quickly result in deaths. The campaign begins at D-Day and moves across Europe, with enemy forces becoming more skilled as missions progress. Players collect unit cards, construct trenches and other defenses, and make tactical decisions during combat. Trench Mode presents larger-scale warfare with simpler controls. Campaign stars and ribbons record progress, while surviving soldiers develop from inexperienced recruits into veterans. Seasonal events, including an Xmas special, add battlefield variations and rewards.
