Our take on Moonfall
The focus on procedural runs may suggest a substantial roguelite commitment, but the stated completion time is only 2h-5h. Its replay structure comes from changing maps, challenges, and discoveries rather than a long campaign.
What is Moonfall?
Moonfall is a short, turn-based tactical roguelite about guiding a squad of travellers through dangerous wastelands toward the Valley where fragments of the Moon fell.
It includes six traveller classes with distinct abilities, recruitment, team changes between turns, terrain-based decisions, hazards, resource gathering, and item crafting at a Night Camp. Maps and levels are generated procedurally, creating different situations and challenges across runs. Players can discover origin cities, crafting recipes, and codex pages for later runs. A complete playthrough takes 2h-5h depending on experience with similar games.
