- Players who want a purely combat-driven RPG may not want the farm-development and crop-processing activities.
Our take on Monster Harvest
Rather than keeping farming and combat in separate loops, Monster Harvest turns crops into companions for turn-based battles. Seasonal conditions also affect what can be grown and which mutations are possible, making farm choices part of the monster-collecting structure.
What is Monster Harvest?
Monster Harvest combines farm development with monster collection and action RPG combat.
Grow crops and use magical Slimes to mutate them into Planimals, companions that join the player in turn-based battles and dungeon exploration. Mutations vary according to the crop, Slime, and season, with up to 72 possible types. Planimal Point has three seasons—Dry, Wet, and Dark—and their weather affects what can be grown. The farm and house can be built and customised with crafted items, while harvested crops can be processed into goods for market. In town, meeting residents and building relationships can lead to store discounts. Exploration and battles form part of a quest to stop SlimeCo.
