Our take on Monday Night Combat
Rather than treating sport as a backdrop for conventional competition, the game turns shooting into a televised contest with robot allies, money-based upgrades, finishing moves, and show-style challenges. Its structure combines team shooter combat with defensive building and persistent career progression.
What is Monday Night Combat?
Monday Night Combat is a class-based third-person shooter set within a lethal future sport.
Competitive Crossfire has teams fight each other while robot forces support both sides. In cooperative Blitz, solo players or groups of up to four defend a Money Ball from robot attacks, spending earned money on turrets, character upgrades, and environmental hazards. Challenges range from a ten-round Exhibition Blitz to endless waves in Super Sudden Death Blitz. Six character classes have upgradeable skills and customizable loadouts. Matches contribute to persistent Lifetime Earnings, which can unlock custom classes and more than 370 ProTags. The game also records persistent statistics, includes leaderboards, and supports hosted dedicated server instances.
