Our take on Mist Slayer
The build system favors variety over simplicity: elemental relationships, inscriptions, runes, and WeaponSeals create many combinations, but require players to manage several interacting choices during runs.
What is Mist Slayer?
Mist Slayer is an action roguelite about a time-traveling hero caught in a mystical war.
Choose from four characters—Buckler, Archer, Claymore, and Assassin—with distinct combat styles and abilities. Combat uses dodging, guarding, and parrying. Five elemental types have opposing relationships, and powers, runes, inscriptions, and WeaponSeals can be combined to change combat builds and attack forms. The game has 13 levels with at least 36 randomly generated maps, more than 10 bosses, and many enemy types. Repeated runs unlock character upgrades and collections. Play alone, switch to offline mode, or join up to three other players online through matchmaking or by teaming up with friends. Cooperative play includes special tasks and items. Cosmetic skins and accessories provide character customization.
