Rather than keeping its medieval setting in one period, the game makes time travel central to its structure. The player begins as a law student in 1996, enters a 1329 Templar dungeon, and must use the Time Gate to return.
What is Time Gate: Knight's Chase?
Play as William Tibbs, an American law student in Paris in 1996, who travels to 1329 to rescue his fiancée Juliette.
The adventure visits the secret jails of the Knights Templar, a medieval museum, and other locations containing more than 300 settings and 50 characters. William faces Black Knights, Wolfram, and the forces of darkness in real-time encounters. The story involves the cursed order, the Templar treasure, and a return to 1995 through the Time Gate. The game includes adjustable difficulty, real-time 3-D characters, mapping and Gouraud shading on characters and items, multitrack sound effects, MIDI music, and protected mode.
