Our take on Mind Unleashed
The page emphasizes VR atmosphere and replayability, but the central structure is a solo arena challenge: clear 15 waves, defeat the boss, then continue. Its stated variety comes from three classes, enemy types and areas unlocked through wave progress.
What is Mind Unleashed?
Mind Unleashed is a first-person science-fiction shooter set in a military base inside a mountain.
As a robot, the player fights enemy waves, using weapons, cover and movement that can include flying. Arena mode has 15 progressively harder waves, ending with a boss; surviving that encounter allows play to continue. Three classes—Engineer, Assault and Specialist—each have two abilities. After clearing a wave, there is a 10-second pause before the next one appears, giving time to find health packs and ammunition.
Special rooms contain supplies, and three areas become available as the player advances. The game supports VR headsets, Xbox 360 and Xbox One gamepads, and keyboard and mouse. It can detect whether a headset is on or off and start accordingly.
