Our take on Death Waves
Rather than centering on a campaign, Death Waves organizes play around repeated enemy waves, with preparation and map exploration taking place between attacks.
What is Death Waves?
Death Waves is a first-person shooter built around surviving waves of zombies.
Between waves, players can manage ammunition, develop survival strategies, or explore mysteries hidden in the maps. The game has 5 maps with different enemies and available weapons, and weapon handling varies by map. A weapon-selection wheel provides access to the arsenal, which can be expanded by buying weapons. Ammunition works through different systems, including reload-based, infinite-ammo, and overheating setups. Players can activate traps and improve sprint speed, weapon damage, and rate of fire. Shields and care packs are also available for purchase. The vendor mentions an additional game mode planned shortly after release.
