Our take on Nectar Wars
Rather than centering on one ship or pilot, the game builds its shoot ’em up around five characters with distinct attack patterns. Its structure also extends beyond story stages with separate Boss Rush and Survival modes.
What is Nectar Wars?
Nectar Wars is a shoot ’em up about five hummingbird sisters defending their world from an invading bee army.
Story Mode has 6 chapters, each with its own enemies and playstyles, and offers 3 difficulty options. Each sister attacks differently: Lizz fires rapidly, Amber uses fast bursts with a cooldown, Ginger shoots homing electric attacks, Crystal sends out icy cones, and Violet delivers slow, high-damage shots. The game also includes bosses throughout its levels, 6 chapter-themed Boss Rush maps, 6 Survival modes built around enemy waves, and an endless Boss Rush that challenges players to defeat as many bosses as possible. Online leaderboards and achievements track play, while unlockable cosmetics let players customize their bird.
