Our take on Mech Armada
The emphasis on varied runs comes with a reset: defeat ends the attempt, and the next starts with fresh Mechs and encounters. The Sandbox offers a separate way to test builds, but it does not continue a run.
What is Mech Armada?
Build a roster of custom Mechs using more than 80 parts, each with distinct strengths, weaknesses, and playstyles.
In grid-based, turn-based battles, read enemy behavior, use the terrain, and manage resources as the team faces The Swarm and its bosses. Runs take place across procedurally generated levels and environments, with encounters and other elements recombined between attempts. When a run ends in defeat, the next begins with new Mechs and encounters. A Sandbox mode lets players select parts freely and test loadouts and tactics against The Swarm without risking a run.
How Mech Armada plays
- 01Mech customization
- Build a roster from over 80 parts, including weapons such as flamethrowers, missile pods, drones, and rayguns.
- 02Procedural runs
- Levels, environments, and encounters are recombined for each attempt, and defeat starts a new run with different Mechs.
- 03Sandbox mode
- Choose parts freely to try loadouts and tactics against The Swarm without risking a run.
