Our take on Lovish
Rather than relying on a fixed sequence of stages, the game inserts unpredictable events between its compact rooms. These interludes can lead to item finds, RPG battles, or drastic world changes, making the structure less predictable than a conventional action-adventure campaign.
What is Lovish?
Lovish is an 8-bit-styled action-adventure game about Sir Solomon entering the Devil Lord’s castle alone to rescue Princess Tsuna.
Progress takes place across 50+ short rooms, where players fight monsters, gather items, complete multiple objectives, and reach the exit. Brief event scenes follow each room and can produce varied results, including item discoveries, random RPG battles, or major changes to the world. Collected items can improve Solomon’s abilities or produce other effects. An in-game shop accepts pennies earned within the game, with no microtransactions. The game also includes more than 100 characters, unexpected guest appearances, pixel art, secrets, and a soundtrack containing over 20 tunes.
