Our take on Lost Technology
Its defining structure is the three-part campaign loop: prepare through turn-based strategy, fight battles in real time, then respond to faction-specific story events.
What is Lost Technology?
Lost Technology is a real-time strategy siege game built around three phases.
During turn-based preparation, players recruit troops and comrades, assemble squads, move through regions, attack enemies, manage formations, or pursue diplomacy and peaceful relations. Battles then take place in real time across varied terrain, with players directing army movement, formations, and attacks while some actions occur automatically. Story events can follow changes such as gaining territory, meeting comrades, bordering another faction, or destroying a country. These scenes may include choices that affect strategy and progression. The English release contains six faction scenarios: Reinald Empire, Makan, Álfheim, Kingdom of Gug, Castus, and Dragon Knights of Fevnr. The objective is to control every territory.
