Saves you a refund- Players seeking direct control over allied forces may find the independent allied behavior restrictive.

Our take on Avaris 2: The Return of the Empress
The game gives up direct control of allied forces in exchange for a larger battlefield view. Orsas soldiers make their own combat decisions, so the Empress must account for their actions rather than command every unit.
What is Avaris 2: The Return of the Empress?
Play as the Empress while fighting to reclaim the Avaris Empire from an evil warlord with help from the King of Orsas and his soldiers.
Direct troops by surrounding enemy forces or concentrating attacks in one area. Army size increases as territory is recovered, reaching up to 36,000 warriors on the battlefield at once. Configure four elite troop types: Warriors, Ninjas, Mages, and Mummies, with differences in speed, ranged attacks, movement, attack, and defense. Victories provide loot, gold, and experience for improving troops and obtaining weapons or magical rings. Battle scores reflect outcomes, combat style, and other achievements, with Steam rankings for comparisons with friends and players worldwide.
