Our take on Lost Soul Aside™
The bounce point arrives in combat: players must combine weapon switches, attack strings, dodges, parries, and timed button presses while learning enemy movements. Those systems may become a wall before the skill tree or weapon-fragment customization has time to compensate.
What is Lost Soul Aside™?
Lost Soul Aside is a single-player action-adventure RPG about Kaser’s attempt to recover his sister’s soul and defend humanity from the Voidrax, dimensional invaders.
Combat centers on rapid weapon changes, chained attacks, dodges, parries, and timed bursts against enemies and large bosses. Experience points open choices in a character skill tree, while weapon fragments modify weapons, combat effects, healing, and appearance. Arena powers provide attack increases, improved healing, protective shields, and fusion attacks. The journey crosses dangerous dimensions, snowy landscapes, ruins, and alien sites, with puzzles and evolving relationships between characters. The PC edition includes customizable graphics, unlocked framerates, ray tracing, HDR display support, and wired USB support for PlayStation DualSense adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Ghost of a Tale is also an action RPG, but it centers on playing a mouse minstrel in a medieval animal world with stealth, disguises, conversations, and exploration. Lost Soul Aside instead focuses on single-player, combo-driven battles, weapon switching, skill-tree growth, and boss encounters across dimensions.
