Our take on Monomyth
Rather than limiting dungeon crawling to combat and loot, Monomyth makes the fortress an interaction space for locks, doors, objects, items, puzzles, trading, dialogue, and baking alongside swordplay and magic.
What is Monomyth?
Monomyth is a first-person dungeon-crawling RPG set in the underground fortress city of Lysandria.
Its interconnected environment spans towers, caverns, themed areas, secret chambers, and hidden passages. Exploration includes items, puzzles, monsters, peaceful inhabitants, and a keyword-based dialogue system. Players can trade, pick locks, break doors, throw objects, combine items, and bake bread. Combat uses sword attacks, spells, dodging, parrying, and blocking, with weapons and magic available. Character development uses six attributes and thirteen skills, supporting builds such as assassins and battlemages. The story follows a journey to find a missing brother and retrieve a divine object in an apocalyptic fantasy setting that combines magic and technology.
